Under the direct supervision of a certified diving instructor, you will experience what it feels like to breathe beneath the surface of the Mediterranean Sea.
The session takes place within the Protected Marine Area of Capo Caccia-Isola Piana, one of the most ecologically rich stretches of coastline in Sardinia. Depths are kept within four metres at all times, making the experience accessible to complete beginners regardless of swimming ability.
A short theoretical and practical briefing at the diving centre prepares you for the equipment and basic maneuvers before you enter the water. From that point, the instructor guides you through a half-hour underwater excursion among local fish and seabed formations that are difficult to observe from the surface.
The experience is structured to give you a genuine taste of recreational diving in a controlled environment. Should you wish to develop your skills further, continuation courses are available through the same centre after completing this introductory session.

How the Experience Unfolds
You meet your certified diving instructor at the centre near Alghero. The team runs through a concise theoretical and practical introduction covering the purpose and use of diving equipment.
Each participant is fitted with the appropriate gear and receives a walkthrough of the key safety maneuvers. The instructor addresses any questions before the group moves toward the water entry point.
The beach is only a short walk from the diving centre. You enter the water gradually alongside the instructor, allowing time to adjust to breathing underwater at a shallow depth.
The underwater tour lasts approximately thirty minutes within the Capo Caccia Marine Protected Area. You observe fish, seabed formations, and other marine life at depths not exceeding four metres.
After the excursion, the group returns to shore and the instructor concludes the session with a debrief. Information about continuation diving courses is made available to interested participants.
