Private Cruise on the Seine: Discover Paris from the Water
An intimate, unhurried journey past the monuments that define one of the world's most celebrated capitals.
A private Seine River cruise in Paris offers a perspective on the city that no walking tour or bus ride can replicate. Gliding beneath stone bridges and past centuries-old facades, passengers experience Paris at a pace that allows for genuine discovery.
The Seine has shaped Paris since before the city's founding, and its banks tell the story of French history, architecture, and culture in one continuous panorama. This 90-minute private cruise covers a route that concentrates the most significant landmarks into a single, coherent journey.
A dedicated guide accompanies the group throughout, providing context and answering questions at each point of interest. The private format means the itinerary and pace are tailored entirely to your group.
From the medieval grandeur of the Conciergerie to the iron lattice of the Eiffel Tower, the route connects monuments spanning more than a thousand years of Parisian history. Each stop carries its own story, and the waterway connects them all without the interruptions of city traffic.

Itinerary
The cruise begins with a passage in front of the Conciergerie, part of the former Palais de la Cite that served as the seat of royal power from the tenth to the fourteenth century. The Palais de Justice complex preserves important medieval vestiges including the Sainte-Chapelle and several original towers.
The boat passes under the Pont Neuf, the oldest existing bridge in Paris and the first stone bridge to cross the Seine in its entirety. Shortly after, it crosses under the Pont des Arts, now glazed following the removal of the famous love padlocks in June 2015.
The route continues past the Louvre Palace, whose museum collections span Western art from the Middle Ages to 1848 alongside ancient civilisations. On the opposite bank, the Musee d'Orsay occupies the former Orsay railway station, built between 1898 and 1900 and converted into a museum in 1986.
The cruise glides past the facade of the National Assembly, the seat of French democratic representation since 1789. The Alexandre III bridge follows, its gilded sculptures and four pylon columns built to mark the Franco-Russian alliance of 1891.
The final landmark is the Eiffel Tower, rising 324 metres above the Champ-de-Mars and visible from the water in its full profile. Constructed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, it has welcomed more than 300 million visitors since opening.
