How the Day Unfolds
The pickup service collects guests from designated hotel stops and bus stop locations at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. The bus is clearly marked as a Tour Pick Up vehicle and is operated by Reykjavik Excursions.
The coach departs from BSI Bus Terminal on a fixed morning or afternoon schedule. It travels southeast from Reykjavik, first stopping at The Lava Tunnel to drop off other passengers before continuing toward Hveragerdi.
At the Greenhouse Hotel in Hveragerdi, zipline guests transfer to a dedicated shuttle that is clearly marked. The drive from the hotel to the zipline site takes approximately five to seven minutes.
On arrival at the site, guides provide a full safety briefing and fit each participant into the specially designed superman harness. Staff will verify that all equipment is correctly adjusted before anyone approaches the launch platform.
