Classic Golden Triangle India — 7-Day Tour of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra
Seven days through the grandeur, history and monuments that define the heart of India.
The Classic Golden Triangle India tour connects three of the subcontinent's most celebrated cities — Delhi, Jaipur and Agra — across seven days of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Mughal architecture and living cultural traditions.
Travelers move through the winding lanes of Old Delhi, the rose-hued boulevards of Rajasthan's capital and the riverfront gardens of Agra, encountering monuments that span more than five centuries of Indian history. The route also passes through Fatehpur Sikri, the remarkably preserved ghost city of Emperor Akbar, and the rustic village haveli of Shahpura, where lunch is served in a historic mansion.
The itinerary is graded Easy, making it accessible for first-time visitors to India and those who prefer a structured, guided framework without strenuous activity. Private transfers connect each destination, and hotels are centrally located to minimize unnecessary travel time.
Tour Highlights
Explore Old and New Delhi in a single day, from the 17th-century Jama Masjid mosque and Red Fort to the towering Qutub Minar minaret and the Rashtrapati Bhavan government district.
Wander through Fatehpur Sikri, the walled Mughal capital abandoned five centuries ago, visiting the Salim Chisti Mausoleum, Panch Mahal and the grand Jama Masjid.
Ascend Amber Fort outside Jaipur by jeep and discover the palace complex of Jagmandir, Jai Mahal and the Kali temple set within manicured hilltop gardens.
Visit the Taj Mahal in Agra, the marble mausoleum commissioned by Shah Jahan over 22 years using craftsmen drawn from Italy, France and across the Mughal empire.
Tour Agra Fort's sandstone bastions, stepping through the Diwan-i-Am, the Diwan-i-Khas and the white-marble Mina Masjid that contrasts sharply with the red stone walls.
Attend the Aarti evening ceremony at Birla Temple in Jaipur, a ritual that offers an authentic window into daily Hindu devotional practice.
Stop for lunch at Shahpura Haveli, a historic mansion in a village at the foot of the Aravali Mountain Range, before continuing into the Pink City of Jaipur.
