Your experience starts at the Easydivers shop at Albufeira Marina, where you will check in, complete the required RTCW form and the standard medical questionnaire used internationally for diving activities. Next, you will join a classroom session that explains what scuba diving is, how the equipment works, and the basic safety skills you will practice. After the theory, you will head to the center with the indoor pool. You will be provided with the equipment you need for the pool session and for the sea dive that follows. In the pool, your instructor will demonstrate and coach you through essential safety exercises, including partial mask clearing, regulator clearing, and regulator recovery and clearing. These skills are mandatory for your safety and are a key step before moving on. Once the pool session is successfully completed, it is time for the sea. You will take a boat trip along the coast to the dive site, a natural reef in the Algarve. With the team’s support, you will enter the water and complete a guided sea dive with your instructor, with a ratio of 2 students per instructor. You will dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters and enjoy around 30 minutes underwater, exploring a beautiful reef and local marine fauna and flora. At the end, you return to the center where hot showers are available. You will receive an official SSI certification valid for 6 months, allowing you to dive up to 12 meters when accompanied by a professional. You may also be able to obtain credits toward an SSI Open Water Diver course.

Requirements and restrictions: You must be able to swim. For safety reasons, pregnant participants are not allowed. Children under 10 years old and under 1.40 m in height are not permitted.
