Golden Triangle with Udaipur: City of Lakes Supersaver — 9 Days
From Mughal grandeur in Delhi and Agra to Rajput splendour in Jaipur and the romantic lakeside beauty of Udaipur.
This nine-day Golden Triangle India tour with Udaipur takes travellers through four of the subcontinent's most storied cities, weaving together centuries of Mughal, Rajput and colonial heritage in a single carefully paced itinerary.
Delhi opens the journey with the raw energy of its crowded bazaars, towering minarets and serene Mughal tombs, while Jaipur — the famed Pink City — rewards visitors with ornate palaces, a monumental hilltop fort and one of the world's most extraordinary astronomical observatories. Each destination builds on the last, offering a progressively deeper sense of India's architectural and cultural range.
Agra presents the Taj Mahal in all its marble perfection, a monument that continues to exceed every expectation. The tour then extends southwest to Udaipur, where whitewashed havelis rim the shores of Lake Pichola and a boat cruise past floating island palaces rounds off the experience with rare scenic beauty.
Tour Highlights
Explore Old Delhi's Jama Masjid, the iconic Red Fort and the colonial grandeur of New Delhi's Rajpath corridor.
Walk the ramparts of Amber Fort in Jaipur, marvelling at Sheesh Mahal's mirror-encrusted interior and the frescoes of Ganesh Pol gate.
Stand before the Taj Mahal and appreciate the craftsmanship of 20,000 artisans summoned from across Persia, Turkey, France and Italy.
Discover Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world, built to track stars and predict eclipses.
Cruise Lake Pichola at sunset and step ashore at Jag Mandir, the centuries-old island palace that seems to float on the water.
Tour Udaipur's City Palace Museum, once the seat of Mewar's maharajas, and wander the shaded lanes of the old town below.
Browse Jaipur's renowned bazaars — Johari for jewels, Bapu for perfumes and textiles, and Tripolia for bronzes and lacquerware.
