Croatia Island Hopping Tour — 8 Days on Brac, Hvar and Trogir
Discover the Adriatic at your own pace across Croatia's most iconic islands.
This Croatia Island Hopping tour takes you across eight days of Adriatic discovery, covering Island Brac, Island Hvar, and the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir — all without having to arrange transport or accommodation yourself. Starting and ending in Split, the itinerary is fully independent, giving travellers the freedom to explore on their own terms.
From the white pebble shores of Zlatni Rat on Brac to the Renaissance squares and Franciscan monasteries of Hvar, each stop offers a distinct character. The islands are among the most visited in the Adriatic, yet both retain traditional areas well away from the tourist centres.
Trogir provides a fitting finale, its medieval core enclosed by walls that have stood since antiquity. Optional guided tours and wine tasting experiences are available throughout the journey, allowing you to add depth to the experience as you see fit.
Tour Highlights
Climb Vidova Gora (778 m), the highest peak across all Adriatic islands, for panoramic views stretching to Hvar, Vis and Korcula.
Zlatni Rat on Brac is one of Croatia's most photographed beaches, a distinctive white pebble cape that shifts shape with the currents.
Hvar town holds one of the oldest municipal theatres in Europe, built in 1612, alongside a 13th-century Arsenal and a grand cathedral square.
A trail through black pine forest leads to Trolokve, three natural rainwater pools on Brac visited by local wildlife — a rarely seen inland gem.
Trogir's UNESCO World Heritage old town features the Romanesque Cathedral of St. Lawrence, the Cipiko Palace, and intact medieval fortifications.
An optional wine tasting in Brac lets you sample three local varieties alongside cheese and olive oil, guided in English from around 5 pm.
Visit Pucisca's renowned stone masonry school, one of the few remaining institutions in Europe preserving traditional Dalmatian craftsmanship.
Itinerary Overview
On arrival at Split Airport, a representative meets you and assists with the transfer to the port. You take the ferry to Supetar and then continue to your hotel in Bol, where the rest of your first day is at leisure.
Three full days on Brac offer the chance to hike Vidova Gora, visit the ancient village of Skrip and its local museum, walk the black pine forest trail to Trolokve, and spend time at Zlatni Rat. Optional wine tasting and guided tours can be booked on any of these days.
A transfer brings you to Hvar town, where two days allow you to explore the theatre, Arsenal, central square, cathedral, and the Franciscan monastery with its celebrated art collection. An optional tour guide is available throughout your stay.
After departing Hvar, you arrive in Trogir to spend a night surrounded by medieval walls. Highlights include the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with master Radovan's carved portal, the 15th-century Town Hall, the Cipiko Palace, and the 11th-century Benedictine Monastery.
A transfer from Trogir to Split Airport completes the tour. Departure timing is coordinated with your onward flight arrangements.
