8-Day Turkey Tour: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Konya, Pamukkale & Ephesus by Flights
A complete journey through Turkey's most iconic destinations, designed for travelers who value depth without the rush.
This 8-day guided Turkey tour brings together the country's most celebrated landmarks — from the imperial grandeur of Istanbul to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, the cotton-white travertines of Pamukkale, and the ancient marble streets of Ephesus. Domestic flights are included, keeping travel time minimal and exploration time maximal. With a maximum of 10 participants, every element of the journey is handled so you can focus entirely on the experience.
The itinerary is structured to give each destination its proper weight. Istanbul receives a full day of guided exploration covering the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. Cappadocia unfolds over two days, revealing fairy chimneys, underground cities, rock-hewn churches, and panoramic viewpoints that have made this region one of Turkey's most photographed landscapes.
Between the ancient ruins of Ephesus and the thermal pools of Pamukkale, the tour also passes through Konya for a visit to the Mausoleum of Mevlana, adding a dimension of spiritual and cultural heritage rarely found in shorter itineraries. Accommodation in centrally located boutique, cave, and four-star hotels ensures comfort throughout. Most meals are included, and a professional guide accompanies the group at every step.
This tour is particularly well suited to independent travelers who want a structured experience without sacrificing intimacy, as well as families or small groups seeking a private tour option. The reverse routing — starting from Cappadocia and ending in Istanbul — can also be arranged depending on flight and hotel availability.

Itinerary Overview
Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW), a representative meets guests with a name sign and provides a private transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to rest and settle in before the tour begins.
A full day of guided sightseeing covers the Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace (including the weapons section), Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. Visitors to Hagia Sophia should bring a smartphone and headphones, as live guiding is no longer permitted inside the monument following January 2024 regulations.
A flight to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport is followed by two days exploring the Cappadocia region. Highlights include the Three Sisters Fairy Chimneys in Urgup, Pigeon Valley, Ozkonak Underground City, Pasabag Fairy Chimneys Valley, Avanos town and its pottery workshops, Goreme Open Air Museum, and the panoramic viewpoint at Uchisar Rock Castle.
An early departure from Cappadocia includes a stop in Konya to visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana before continuing to Pamukkale. Check-in is at a thermal hotel where guests can swim in the thermal pools until late evening.
After breakfast, the ancient city of Hierapolis is explored alongside the travertine terraces, the Theatre, and the Apollo Temple. The group then drives approximately three hours to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.
The day begins with a visit to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, followed by a comprehensive tour of Ephesus and a visit to the House of Virgin Mary on the Aladag Mountains. The group then transfers to Izmir Airport for a flight back to Istanbul, with a representative waiting upon arrival to transfer guests to the hotel.
