      The itinerary moves outward from Muscat through Bimmah Sinkhole, Fins Beach, and the dramatic canyon of Wadi Shab before reaching the turtle breeding grounds at Ras al Hadd. Day three leads to the historic dhow-building city of Sur, a gazelle farm, and a night under canvas in the Wahiba Sands desert.
