Golden Circle, volcanic landscapes, and the heart of Reykjavík — all at your own pace.

Itinerary
Collect your rental car at Keflavík International Airport and begin your drive across the Reykjanes Peninsula. The volcanic landscape — dark lava rock softened by patches of green moss — offers an immediate sense of Iceland's geological character. Your overnight stay is in Reykjavík, approximately 50 km from the airport.
Depart Reykjavík and follow the Golden Circle route, beginning at Þingvellir National Park where Iceland's parliament was founded in 930 AD and two tectonic plates visibly diverge. Continue to the Geysir geothermal field to watch the Strokkur geyser erupt, then proceed to the Gullfoss waterfall and the quiet village of Flúðir. The day concludes with an overnight stay in the Hveragerði or Selfoss area, covering roughly 200 km.
Check out from your accommodation and drive approximately 50 km back to Keflavík International Airport. Return your rental car at the airport to complete the tour. The route passes through southern Iceland's agricultural lowlands, offering a calm close to a varied three-day journey.
