Wulong Three Natural Bridges and Fairy Mountain All-Inclusive Private Tour
Discover UNESCO-listed karst bridges and alpine grasslands on a seamless private journey from Chongqing
This full-day private excursion offers an effortless way to experience the Wulong Three Natural Bridges, one of China's most celebrated karst formations, alongside the sweeping highland scenery of Fairy Mountain Forest Park. All logistics are handled from the moment of pickup, letting travelers focus entirely on the landscape.
Wulong District sits roughly three hours southeast of central Chongqing, and the journey itself passes through layered river valleys and terraced hillsides typical of the Chongqing municipality. The Tiansheng Three Bridges scenic area preserves three successive natural stone arches spanning a deep gorge, each carrying its own character and geological history.
Fairy Mountain, known locally as Xiannu Mountain, rises above the tree line to reveal open grasslands grazed by cattle and horses alongside dense conifer forest. The contrast between the subterranean drama of the karst bridges and the open sky of the mountain plateau makes this pairing one of the more varied single-day itineraries available from Chongqing.

Itinerary
The guide meets guests at the hotel lobby in Chongqing downtown and the group departs by private vehicle. The drive to Wulong Karst Scenic Area takes approximately three hours through the municipality's river valley terrain.
Entering the Tiansheng Three Bridges Scenic Area, the first stop is Tianlong Bridge, the largest of the three arches, with a notably high and wide bridge opening that frames the gorge below. A walking trail leads visitors along the canyon floor for close-up views of the arch's scale.
A short walk leads to Tianfu Guanyi, a heritage inn compound used as a film location, followed by Qinglong Bridge, whose curved arch has been compared to a dragon resting over water. The group spends time at each site before continuing deeper into the gorge.
The final arch in the sequence, Heilong Bridge, shelters a cave environment where stalactites hang from the vault and natural light filters in at specific angles. The total time in the Three Bridges area is approximately two and a half hours.
After lunch the group drives to Fairy Mountain Forest Park, a highland reserve characterised by open grassland, grazing livestock, and pine forest. Approximately two and a half hours are allocated for walking the park's scenic routes and taking in the elevated views.
The private vehicle departs Fairy Mountain for the return drive of approximately three hours, arriving back in Chongqing downtown and completing the day's itinerary at hotel drop-off.
