Itinerary Overview
Your driver collects the group and begins the approximately 90-minute scenic drive toward the Hajar Mountains. The road passes through desert and foothills before the mountain scenery opens up on approach to Hatta.
Arrive at Hatta Dam, one of the largest and most scenic reservoirs in the region. Choose from kayaking, pedal boating, or water biking, or opt for a guided tour boat to learn about the area's geology and history while taking in the mountain panorama.
Hatta Hill Park, built in 2004 across a mountain slope, offers running tracks, a children's play area, and a summit tower with sweeping views. Nearby, the Hatta Heritage Village presents carefully reconstructed stone houses, watchtowers, a fort, a traditional majlis, and a museum of tools, weapons, and old photographs. The adjacent Al Sharia palm farm demonstrates the ancient falaj irrigation system still in use today.
