Emerald Islets Cruise aboard the Axopar 25 CT
A private coastal escape through secluded coves, ancient landmarks, and turquoise waters along the southern shores of Rhodes.
This Rhodes speedboat tour takes small groups on a four-hour journey through some of the island's most compelling coastal scenery, departing from the historic village of Lindos and venturing into waters that few visitors ever reach by land.
The Axopar 25 CT is a modern, stable cruiser well-suited to both open sea passages and calm anchorages, giving guests a comfortable platform whether they are swimming, paddleboarding, or simply watching the cliffs roll by from the deck.
The itinerary blends natural spectacle with cultural context, passing beneath the Lindos Acropolis from the sea, rounding the Pentanisos Islets, and anchoring in the bay made famous by the classic film The Guns of Navarone. Each stop is chosen to offer a genuine change of scenery and activity.
Swim stops are adapted on the day according to sea conditions and the preferences of the group, keeping the experience flexible without losing its sense of direction or purpose.
Tour Highlights
Swim and snorkel in the sheltered waters of the Emerald Islets, a cluster of rocky islets with clear, calm pools largely unknown to day-trippers.
View the Lindos Acropolis from the sea for a perspective unavailable from any road or footpath on the island.
Cruise through Navarone Bay, framed by towering vertical cliffs and recognised as one of the most dramatic natural formations on the Aegean coast.
Try stand-up paddleboarding on the onboard SUP board at calm anchorages suited to all skill levels.
Explore the Haraki area, where several distinct bays including Agathi, Blue Lagoon, and Red Sand Beach lie within a short radius of each other.
Cruise past Tsambika Monastery, perched high above its bay, and swim in the golden-sand shallows directly beneath it.
Travel aboard a modern speedboat with an experienced local skipper, keeping group numbers small for a personal and unhurried experience.
Itinerary Overview
The cruise begins from one of three meeting points around the Lindos coastline. After a brief safety introduction from the skipper, the boat heads south along the rocky shoreline.
The first major stop brings guests into the sheltered channels between the Pentanisos Islets, where the water is calm and shallow enough for snorkeling directly from the boat. The Emerald Islets nearby offer a similarly secluded anchorage with striking rocky backdrops.
The boat rounds the headland into Navarone Bay, where cliff faces rise sharply from the water on either side. A short cruise from here leads to the sea caves beneath Lindos, suitable for snorkeling and close-up exploration.
A twenty-to-thirty-minute cruise north brings the group into the Haraki area, where multiple bays are clustered together. Depending on conditions and preferences, the skipper may anchor at Agathi Bay, the Blue Lagoon cove, Red Sand Beach, or beneath the medieval walls of Feraklos Castle.
The final swim stop is set in the bay below Tsambika Monastery, offering golden sand, shallow turquoise water, and a commanding view of the hillside shrine above. SUP boards are available here for those who wish to paddle.
The return leg follows the coastline back toward the departure point, with the option to revisit any stops that conditions or time allow. Guests are dropped at their original meeting point at the close of the four-hour window.
