5-Day Reykjavik, Golden Circle and South Coast Private Tour
A fully private journey through Iceland's most iconic landscapes, from volcanic plains to black sand beaches.
This 5-day private Iceland tour covers the Golden Circle, the South Coast, and Reykjavik with a dedicated driver-guide by your side throughout. Designed for travelers who prefer flexibility and personalized attention, the itinerary visits Iceland's most celebrated natural and cultural landmarks without the constraints of a group setting. Every stop, from geothermal wonders to dramatic waterfalls, is experienced at your own pace.
Iceland's landscape shifts dramatically across short distances, and this tour is structured to capture that contrast. You will move from the geothermal fields of the Golden Circle to the thundering waterfalls of the South Coast and return to the coastal capital of Reykjavik, where modern Scandinavian culture meets volcanic history.
The tour begins with an arrival transfer directly from the airport and an optional stop at the Blue Lagoon, allowing you to ease into Iceland's unique environment. Each overnight stay is in a private room at a comfortable hotel, giving you a dependable base after long days of exploration.
Optional activities at several points along the route allow you to tailor the experience further. Choices include snorkeling between tectonic plates in Silfra, hiking on a glacier, or embarking on a Northern Lights cruise during the autumn and winter months.
Tour Highlights
Witness the erupting Strokkur geyser at the Geysir Geothermal Area, shooting boiling water up to 40 meters into the air every 5 to 10 minutes.
Walk behind the curtain of Seljalandsfoss waterfall on the South Coast, one of Iceland's most visually dramatic natural features.
Stand at the rift between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates inside Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit Gullfoss, one of Iceland's most powerful waterfalls, fed by meltwater from Langjökull glacier and set within a sweeping canyon.
Explore Reynisfjara black sand beach, where towering basalt columns meet Atlantic surf and puffins nest on clifftops in summer.
Discover Reykjavik's landmarks, including Hallgrímskirkja Church, the Old Harbour, Harpa Concert Hall, and the Sun Voyager sculpture.
Relax in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon on arrival day, complete with in-water amenities and a sauna.
