Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your guide and driver collect you from your Cairo hotel for the approximately 4-hour drive west to Bahariya Oasis. Lunch is served at a local restaurant in the oasis town upon arrival.
After lunch, the jeep heads south through the Black Desert, pausing at the natural hot spring in the Valley of El Haize. The route continues to Crystal Mountain and through the rock formations of the Valley of Agabat.
The day ends inside White Desert National Park, where the chalk formations catch the last light of the afternoon. Dinner is provided at the Al Haiz campsite, where you spend the night under the desert sky.
After breakfast at camp, the group returns to Bahariya Oasis to visit the Mummies Museum and the Tomb of Bannantiu. There is time to climb the English House viewpoint, walk the sand dunes, and see the Salt Lake before lunch and the drive back to Cairo.
