7 Days Egypt Heart GEM Pyramids Cruise
From the Giza Plateau to the temples of Upper Egypt, seven days of ancient wonders without hidden costs.
This 7-day Egypt pyramids and Nile cruise tour takes you from the iconic monuments of Giza through the Grand Egyptian Museum and then aboard a five-star cruise ship sailing between Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan. Every transfer, domestic flight, entrance fee, and meal listed in the itinerary is bundled into a single transparent price. Professional Egyptologist guides accompany the group at every site, providing context grounded in academic knowledge rather than rehearsed scripts.
The journey opens in Giza, where guests explore the last surviving wonder of the ancient world: a pyramid complex built from more than two million stone blocks, each weighing between five and fifteen tonnes. A visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum follows, offering curated insight into artefacts spanning thousands of years of pharaonic civilization. The first day also includes a demonstration of traditional papyrus paper-making, connecting visitors to one of ancient Egypt's most enduring technologies.
From Cairo, a domestic flight connects the group to Luxor, where Karnak Temple — the largest religious complex ever built — and the Temple of Mut anchor the afternoon. Check-in to the five-star cruise ship takes place the same afternoon, and the vessel becomes a floating base for the remainder of the trip. Evening entertainment on board includes Egyptian cultural performances such as belly dancing and Nubian shows, while afternoon sailings between ports are accompanied by open-air tea service on deck.
The final leg arrives in Aswan, a city whose ancient monuments reflect Egypt's connections to sub-Saharan Africa and the Greco-Roman world. Philae Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and a visit to an essential-oil workshop round out the cultural programme before a return domestic flight carries the group back to Cairo. Transfers on the last day deliver guests to their chosen endpoint in Cairo, Giza, or the international airport.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Transfer from Cairo International Airport or a client address in Cairo or Giza to the four-star Giza hotel. The afternoon covers the Giza Pyramid Complex, the Great Sphinx, a papyrus workshop demonstration, and a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum. Lunch and overnight in Giza are included.
After breakfast at the Giza hotel, transfer to Cairo Airport for the domestic flight to Luxor. On arrival, the group visits Karnak Temple and the Temple of Mut before checking in to the five-star cruise ship moored on the Nile. All meals are provided, and the first night is spent on board in Luxor.
Morning visits to the Valley of the Kings, where tombs painted roughly four thousand years ago retain vivid colours and detailed scenes, followed by an alabaster workshop and the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues associated with the ancient Greek god of sadness, complete the west-bank programme. The cruise ship sails toward Edfu in the afternoon.
Morning visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the most completely preserved ancient temple in Egypt. The ship then sails to Kom Ombo for an afternoon tour of the dual temple dedicated to both Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, including the on-site Crocodile Mummy Museum. The vessel continues to Aswan overnight.
Full day in Aswan beginning with a boat transfer to Philae Island and the temple complex of the goddess Isis, followed by a visit to an essential-oil distillery demonstrating flower-based extraction methods used since antiquity. Dinner on the cruise ship includes a belly dancer or Nubian cultural performance.
After breakfast, the group disembarks and transfers to Aswan Airport for the domestic flight back to Cairo. On arrival, a private transfer carries each guest to their chosen drop-off point: a hotel in Cairo or Giza, or Cairo International Airport. Services conclude at 7 pm.
