Itinerary
An air-conditioned van collects you from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh and transfers you to the main departure coach waiting at the old market. The group then begins the overland journey toward Cairo.
Built in 1901, the Egyptian Museum houses one of the world's most extensive collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, spanning over 120,000 items across its grand galleries. Your Egyptology guide leads the visit, highlighting key pieces and providing historical context.
The Giza Plateau presents the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, all constructed during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. The surrounding necropolis also contains workers' village remains and several ancient cemeteries.
The Valley Temple facing the Great Sphinx is included as part of the VIP excursion component. The Sphinx, standing 20 meters tall with the head of a human and the body of a lion, is among the oldest and largest statues in the world.
A lunch stop is included, followed by a visit to an authentic papyrus institute where the ancient craft of paper-making is demonstrated. Time is also available at Cairo's bazaars for those wishing to purchase souvenirs.
After the day's activities, the group boards the coach for the return overland journey back to Sharm El-Sheikh. Guests are dropped off at their respective hotels upon arrival.
