Private Overnight Tour to Luxor from Cairo by Flight
Two days among the greatest monuments of ancient Egypt, explored at your own pace with a private Egyptologist guide.
This private overnight tour to Luxor from Cairo by flight covers the most iconic sites of the ancient world across two immersive days, from the towering columns of Karnak to the painted royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings.
Departing Cairo by air, you arrive in Luxor where a dedicated Egyptologist guide accompanies you through the East and West Banks of the Nile. The itinerary is designed to balance depth and pace, giving you time to absorb each site rather than rush between them.
On the second day, a scenic drive north to Dendera adds the magnificent Temple of Hathor to your experience before the return flight to Cairo. Lunches and one dinner are included, and all transfers use air-conditioned private vehicles throughout.
Tour Highlights
Walk through the Hypostyle Hall at Karnak Temple, a forest of 134 massive sandstone columns spanning over 5,000 square meters.
Descend into three richly decorated royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were buried with treasures for the afterlife.
Visit Hatshepsut Temple at Deir el-Bahari, a three-tiered mortuary temple carved against the limestone cliffs of the West Bank.
Explore Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III, celebrated for its vivid battle reliefs and well-preserved painted halls.
Drive 80 km north to Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt.
Stand before the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues of Amenhotep III that have guarded the Theban plain for over 3,300 years.
Travel by domestic flight each way between Cairo and Luxor, saving time and arriving refreshed for a full day of sightseeing.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
A private vehicle collects you from your Cairo hotel and transfers you to the airport for the flight to Luxor. Following the West Bank sites, you are transferred to your Luxor hotel to check in and rest. Dinner is included, giving you the evening to explore the Luxor Corniche at your own leisure or relax before the next day.
