Itinerary Overview
Day 1 is an arrival day with airport meet-and-assist and hotel check-in. Day 2 visits the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the Egyptian Museum including the Tutankhamun treasures, the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and Khan El Khalili bazaar.
A domestic flight connects Cairo to Luxor for embarkation. Over four days the cruise visits Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the Temple of Sobek at Kom Ombo, Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Philae.
After disembarking in Aswan, a flight returns travelers to Cairo for two nights. One day is free at leisure, with an optional full-day excursion to Alexandria covering Qaitbay Citadel, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Catacombs.
Travelers fly from Cairo to Amman Queen Alia International Airport, where a tour manager provides meet-and-assist and hotel check-in. The evening allows for rest and orientation before the Jordan segment begins.
