Praslin and La Digue Shared Day Trip from Mahe
Two iconic islands, world-famous beaches, and the timeless beauty of the Seychelles — all in a single day.
This Praslin and La Digue day trip takes you to two of the Seychelles' most celebrated islands, where turquoise lagoons, granite boulders, and powder-white sand define every horizon. Designed for travelers with limited time, this shared excursion covers both islands without sacrificing the depth of experience.
Praslin is home to Anse Lazio and the Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO-listed forest where the legendary coco de mer palm grows in its only natural habitat. The island blends lush tropical interior with some of the clearest coastal waters in the Indian Ocean.
La Digue offers a slower pace and a landscape that has made it one of the most photographed destinations on the planet. The iconic granite formations at Anse Source d'Argent create a visual signature that is instantly recognizable to travelers worldwide. Getting around by bicycle or ox-cart adds a layer of authenticity rarely found in modern beach tourism.

Itinerary
The group assembles at the designated meeting point on Mahe and boards transport to the ferry terminal. The crossing to Praslin marks the official start of the day's island adventure.
Upon reaching Praslin, the group begins exploring the island's most celebrated sites, including the pristine shoreline of Anse Lazio. Time is also allocated to visit or view the UNESCO-protected Vallee de Mai reserve.
A short ferry ride connects Praslin to La Digue, the third-largest inhabited island in the Seychelles. The journey offers open-water views and the chance to spot nearby islets along the way.
On La Digue, the group visits Anse Source d'Argent, the island's most photographed beach, framed by ancient granite rock formations and shallow, warm waters. Free time allows visitors to swim, explore, or simply take in the scenery.
