Mount Sinai Climb and Private St. Catherine Tour
Walk the path of Moses, witness the sunrise from a sacred summit, and visit one of the oldest monasteries on Earth.
The Mount Sinai climb is among the most spiritually charged and visually rewarding experiences available from Sharm El Sheikh, combining a pre-dawn ascent of a 2,285-metre peak with a guided visit to the legendary Monastery of St. Catherine.
The climb begins in the early hours of the morning, allowing travelers to reach the summit just as daylight breaks over the surrounding Sinai desert. The view from the top stretches across rugged granite ridges and open valleys, offering a perspective that is difficult to find anywhere else in Egypt.
Following the descent, the tour continues to the Monastery of St. Catherine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has operated continuously since the sixth century. The visit includes the site of the Burning Bush and the Church of the Transfiguration, two landmarks of deep historical and religious significance.
A stop at a local restaurant in St. Catherine City provides a relaxed breakfast before the group transfers back to Sharm El Sheikh, completing a full-day journey that blends physical challenge with cultural discovery.
