Itinerary
Your photographer meets you at your hotel in the Venice city center and walks with you to St. Mark's Square. Photographs are taken with St. Mark's Basilica and the Campanile bell tower forming the backdrop, timed to make the most of available light and reduced foot traffic.
The session continues beneath the arches of the Doge's Palace, where the architecture creates natural framing for couples. The nearby Bridge of Sighs offers one of Venice's most recognizable backdrops for a set of images.
Moving along the waterfront promenade, photographs are taken near the gondola moorings with the island of San Giorgio Maggiore visible across the lagoon. This stretch offers wide, open compositions that contrast with the narrow calli captured elsewhere in the session.
The group moves to the Rialto Bridge for a set of iconic images above and along the Grand Canal. Your photographer knows the precise positions that frame the bridge without the visual clutter typical of busier hours.
Couples who wish to add a gondola experience can board near Hotel Danieli, pass beneath the Bridge of Sighs, and travel through the smaller canals of the historic center. This segment is not included in the base price and is paid directly to the gondolier on the day.
