The tour begins at Piazza Bilotti, the gateway to Corso Mazzini and the MAB, Museo all'Aperto di Bilotti. From the MAB, the route continues to Piazza dei Bruzi, named in honour of the ancient Italic people who founded the city. The group then enters Cosenza Vecchia, the medieval borough, following Corso Telesio through its layered historic streetscape toward the heart of the old town.
