Cagliari Discover Scuba Diving for Beginners
Your first breath underwater, guided safely in the Gulf of Cagliari
This beginner scuba diving experience in Cagliari opens the door to the Mediterranean's underwater world for first-time divers. Led by a dedicated instructor in a one-on-one setting, you will descend to a gentle depth of 5 metres and spend 30 minutes discovering what lies beneath the surface of southern Sardinia's coastline.
The experience is based out of a local diving centre in Cagliari and follows a structured programme designed for safety and enjoyment. After a thorough equipment briefing on shore, participants board a rigid inflatable boat for a short transfer to Calamosca cove, a sheltered inlet in the Gulf of Cagliari known for its rocky seabeds and accessible marine life.
Calamosca is a well-chosen site for beginners, offering calm waters, natural light, and small caves that can be explored without any prior training. Colourful fish, sea urchins, and Mediterranean flora are common sightings along the rocky formations that line the seafloor.
All equipment is provided and included in the experience. Upon returning to shore, changing facilities are available at the diving centre free of charge.
