Cagliari: Diving in the Gulf of Angels
Explore the rich marine world beneath the turquoise waters of southern Sardinia
A guided scuba diving in the Gulf of Angels brings you face to face with one of the Mediterranean's most diverse underwater ecosystems, right off the coast of Cagliari in southern Sardinia. This four-hour experience is rated easy and is designed for licensed divers ready to explore natural dive sites chosen to match their training level.
A short dinghy transfer of roughly 15 minutes takes you to carefully selected dive points such as Secca dell'Arco or Secca del Granito. These two locations sit within the Gulf of Cagliari and offer encounters with groupers, octopuses, barracuda, amberjacks, and nudibranches in clear, well-lit waters.
The dive itself lasts approximately 50 minutes, guided by a certified professional who adapts the route to your experience and comfort. Weather conditions and the skipper's judgment may influence the exact site chosen on the day.
After returning to port, participants have complimentary access to the bathrooms and showers at the nearby Yacht Club, located just 10 metres from the embarkation point — a practical detail that makes the end of the outing comfortable.
