Bosa 3-Hour ATV Tour: Coastline, Towers & Beach Stops
Ride through rugged coastal terrain, historic Aragonese towers, and hidden beaches along Sardinia's wild western shore.
This Bosa ATV tour takes riders on a guided 30-kilometer loop through one of Sardinia's most scenic and least-visited coastal stretches, combining dirt tracks, cliffs, sand dunes, and two refreshing beach stops into a single three-hour circuit.
The route runs south of Bosa through the coastal hinterland of Tresnuraghes, where a maze of rural tracks winds between valleys, basalt cliffs, and Mediterranean scrubland. A guide leads the way throughout, keeping pace manageable while ensuring riders take in the landscape at key vantage points.
Two planned swim stops — at Columbargia and Ischia Ruggia — give participants time to cool off in clear Sardinian waters before continuing the circuit back toward the starting point. The route also passes three Aragonese watchtowers, each offering a distinct perspective on the surrounding coastline from Capo Marrargiu to the Sinis peninsula.

Itinerary
The tour begins at the starting point in Bosa, where guides provide a safety briefing and equipment check before setting off south through the coastal dirt track network toward Tresnuraghes.
About 2 km into the ride, the route passes through the village of Tresnuraghes before continuing along a rural road to the Aragonese Tower of Foghe and the Tower of San Marco, two well-preserved coastal watchtowers.
The first loop descends to the beach of Columbargia, tucked at the foot of a rocky promontory. Riders stop here for approximately 20 minutes to swim or explore the shoreline.
A dirt road leads to the Tower of Ischia Ruggia, where the beaches and cliffs of Torolo and Ischia Ruggia provide another 20-minute break for swimming and taking in the scenery.
On the return leg, the route passes the Aragonese Tower of Foghe, the last of the three towers on the circuit, from which riders can admire the dramatic basalt coast of Cabu Nieddu.
The final winding stretch of asphalt and dirt road completes the circular loop back to the departure point in Bosa, concluding the three-hour guided circuit.
