Itinerary
Your private guide and driver collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at the agreed morning hour. The group heads south approximately 40 km to the royal necropolis of Dahshur.
Explore the two pyramids commissioned by King Snefru of the 4th Dynasty. The Bent Pyramid reveals the original design adjustment made mid-construction, while the Red Pyramid represents Egypt's first successful true pyramid. Entry into the Red Pyramid interior is possible.
Travel to the Sakkara necropolis to visit the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, constructed around 2630 BC during the 3rd Dynasty. Designed by the architect Imhotep, this is widely considered the world's oldest major stone structure.
A midday meal is served at a local restaurant, offering a pause between the southern necropolis sites and the Giza plateau. This is an opportunity to rest before the afternoon portion of the tour.
Arrive at the Giza plateau to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Proceed to the Great Sphinx and the adjoining Valley Temple of Chephren, gaining a comprehensive overview of the entire Giza complex.
Following the Giza visit, your driver returns you directly to your hotel in Cairo or Giza, concluding the day tour. Total duration is approximately 8 hours from pickup.
