Itinerary
The day begins with pickup at accommodation in Albufeira before heading inland in a Land Rover Defender. The route takes in Castelo de Paderne and the village of Paderne, then continues through orange orchards and cork oak woodland. Stops include the Rocha da Pena mills and the Rocha da Pena area itself, with panoramic views over the Algarve interior along the way. A tasting of typical liqueur and jams leads into lunch at Quinta do Freixo, followed by a stop at the natural springs of Alte for a swim and a visit to the village of Alte, with local legends and traditions shared throughout, before drop-off back in Albufeira.
