Kayak Excursion in the Gulf of Cagliari: Caves, Cliffs and Crystal Clear Sea
Paddle along one of Sardinia's most dramatic coastlines, exploring sea caves, hidden coves and marine life on this beginner-friendly guided kayak adventure.
This guided kayak tour in Cagliari invites you to discover the Gulf of Cagliari from the water, where towering limestone cliffs, submerged caves and secluded beaches reveal a side of the city that most visitors never see. The 7-kilometre itinerary is designed to be accessible to all fitness levels, including those who have never paddled before.
A local guide accompanies the group throughout the journey, providing context on the geological features and marine environment encountered along the route. Before setting off, every participant receives a short introductory lesson covering paddling technique and safety, ensuring confidence on the water from the very first stroke.
Multiple stops for swimming and snorkelling are woven into the itinerary, giving participants the chance to observe mullet, bream, wrasse and starfish in their natural habitat. The combination of active paddling, underwater exploration and coastal scenery makes this a well-rounded outing for travellers seeking something beyond a standard beach day.
