The two-hour rental provides sufficient time to reach the Benagil cave, spend around 30 minutes inside exploring the interior beach, and continue toward Marinha beach to observe its striking natural arches. The four-hour option allows for a more relaxed pace and extended exploration along the coast.

How the Experience Unfolds
Meet the André Matos Boat Trips team at the entrance of Benagil beach at least 30 minutes before your booked start time. Look for guides wearing the company logo t-shirt.
Receive a full paddling briefing from certified kayak instructors, including tips on navigating the coastal waters safely. Life vests and paddles are provided and fitted at this stage.
Instructors help you enter the water with your double kayak. From Benagil beach, you begin paddling along the base of the Algarve's limestone cliffs toward the cave entrance.
Enter the cave by kayak and land on the interior beach. Spend approximately 30 minutes exploring, resting, and photographing the spectacular natural oculus above.
Continue along the coast to Marinha beach to view its famous rock formations and natural arches rising from the Atlantic. This is considered one of the finest beaches in Europe for its geological features.
Paddle back to Benagil beach where the guides will assist you out of the water and collect the kayaks. No heavy lifting required on your part.
