Motor Boat Trip Along Alghero's Coral Riviera
Explore secret coves, turquoise bays, and wild coastlines aboard a private motor boat from Alghero.
This Alghero boat trip takes you along one of northwest Sardinia's most dramatic shorelines, where limestone cliffs meet crystal-clear waters and secluded beaches remain beyond reach by land. Small groups of up to eight guests cruise aboard a modern Quicksilver 805, guided by an experienced skipper who reads the sea and adapts the route to offer the best conditions of the day.
Depending on marine weather, the skipper charts a northern or southern course from Alghero's port. The northern route passes landmarks such as Capo Galera and Foradada Island before reaching the sweeping Porto Conte Bay. The southern alternative reveals quieter stretches around Cala Burantino, Poglina, and the Le Croci reef, where underwater visibility is exceptional.
Three or more stops allow guests to swim, snorkel, or simply float in the calm Sardinian sea. Dolphins are frequently spotted in these waters, and sightings, while never guaranteed, are a genuine possibility on many departures.
The outing concludes with a generous on-board aperitif featuring Sardinian cheeses, cold cuts, buffalo mozzarella, seasonal salads, Carasau bread, fresh fruit, and a full selection of beverages including local wine, beer, and spritz.

How the Trip Unfolds
The group boards the Quicksilver 805 at the port of Alghero. The skipper briefs guests on safety procedures and outlines the day's chosen route based on current sea and wind conditions.
The boat departs along either the northern or southern coastline. The northern route takes in Capo Galera, Torre del Lazzaretto, Punta Negra, Foradada Island, and Porto Conte Bay. The southern route follows the coast toward Cala il Cantaro, Cala Burantino, Poglina, and Le Croci reef.
At least three anchor stops give guests ample time to swim in the open sea, snorkel around rocky outcrops, or relax on the sun deck. The skipper selects the calmest and most scenic spots available on the day.
During the outing, a substantial Sardinian aperitif is served on board. The spread includes cold cuts, cheeses, buffalo mozzarella, salads, Carasau bread, seasonal fruit, Sardinian sweets, and a full range of drinks.
After the final stop, the boat heads back to the port of Alghero, completing approximately four hours on the water. Guests disembark with enough afternoon remaining to explore the town.
