Itinerary Overview
Arrive at Cairo International Airport and transfer to your four-star hotel. On day two, a private guide leads you to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Mykerinus, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, followed by lunch and an afternoon visit to the Step Pyramid at Saqqara and the ruins of Memphis.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for a 90-minute flight to Aswan. Meet your Nile cruise and enjoy lunch on board before an afternoon tour covering the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae reached by motorboat, and the ancient Unfinished Obelisk.
After breakfast on board, visit the riverside Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. The ship then sails north to Edfu, passing through open Nile countryside, and arrives in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the dock.
