Day-by-Day Itinerary
A Flybus shuttle transfer from Keflavik Airport brings you to your hotel in Reykjavik. The rest of the day is free to explore Iceland's compact and walkable capital at your own pace. Dinner is on your own this evening.
A guided morning tour of Reykjavik is followed by a drive to the Reykjanes Peninsula, where hot springs, bird cliffs, lighthouses, and a lunar-like landscape await. The afternoon concludes with a warm soak at the Blue Lagoon before continuing to Hella for two nights. Your guide introduces the Northern Lights that evening.
The day covers the South Coast, including Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Skógar folk museum, Skógarfoss waterfall, Reynisfjara Black Lava Beach, and the village of Vik. In the evening, a guided bonfire tour visits Hvolsvöllur and Hella, followed by a festive 4-course New Year's Eve dinner and midnight fireworks at Hella.
