Itinerary
Depart Lisbon and cross into Spain through Extremadura, stopping in Caceres to explore its World Heritage medieval quarter and Plaza Mayor. Continue south into Andalucia and arrive in Seville for dinner and overnight.
Morning guided tour of Seville covering Maria Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the Cathedral exterior, the Giralda bell tower and the Santa Cruz neighbourhood. Optional afternoon Guadalquivir river cruise or Maestranza bullring visit, and an optional evening flamenco show.
Depart Seville along the Route of the White Villages, with free time in Ronda to take in the clifftop views and historic bridge. Continue to the Costa del Sol for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Travel to Granada for a guided visit to the Alhambra palace complex and the Generalife gardens, the former residence of the Moorish kings. Dinner and overnight in Granada, with an optional evening visit to the Sacromonte caves for gypsy flamenco.
