Croatia Island Hopping: 15 Days Across Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Trogir
Island life, ancient towns, and the Adriatic at your own pace
This Croatia island hopping tour takes independent travellers through fifteen days of Adriatic discovery, from the pine-covered hills of Brac to the medieval lanes of Korcula, with all transport and accommodation arranged in advance. You simply arrive in Split and follow the journey at your own rhythm.
The tour covers three of Croatia's most celebrated islands, Brac, Hvar, and Korcula, before finishing in the UNESCO-listed town of Trogir. Each stop offers a different character: Brac is known for its white-stone villages and the famous Zlatni Rat beach; Hvar blends baroque architecture with a lively waterfront; and Korcula preserves the atmosphere of a smaller, quieter Mediterranean world.
Because the tour is fully independent, you are free to spend each day exactly as you choose. Optional extras such as private guided tours and local wine and cheese tastings can be added at any stage to enrich the experience without locking you into a fixed group programme.
Nearby cities including Dubrovnik and Split are within easy reach of your island bases, giving you the option to add a day excursion to Croatia's most iconic urban destinations without leaving the tour itinerary behind.
Tour Highlights
Zlatni Rat, the famous golden-tip beach on Brac, is one of the Adriatic's most photographed natural landmarks and a short drive from your base in Supetar.
Hvar town preserves a 17th-century theatre, a 13th-century Arsenal, and a monumental cathedral square that together form one of Dalmatia's finest historic cores.
The Pakleni Islands lie just off Hvar harbour and offer calm, clear water for swimming and the pretty beach cove of Palmizana on the islet of Klement.
Korcula town is said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, and its narrow stone streets, palaces, and churches carry centuries of seafaring and stonemason heritage.
Optional wine and cheese tastings on both Brac and Korcula introduce locally produced varieties, including ecologically farmed wines and olive oils made on the islands themselves.
Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, wraps a cathedral, medieval palaces, and an 11th-century Benedictine monastery inside its ancient walls at the final stop of the tour.
Vidova Gora, the highest peak on any Adriatic island at 778 metres, rewards the short ascent with panoramic views stretching across the open sea to distant islands.
Itinerary Overview
Arrive at Split Airport, transfer to the port, and take the ferry to Supetar on Island Brac. Spend four days exploring the island at leisure, from the natural pools of Trolokve and the summit of Vidova Gora to the golden tip of Zlatni Rat beach. Optional wine tasting and private guided tours are available on any day of your stay.
Transfer from Brac to Hvar and settle into Hvar town, the oldest tourist centre in Dalmatia. Use the four days to visit the baroque town centre, take a boat to the Pakleni Islands, explore the lavender fields and ancient village of Stari Grad, or simply relax on the beaches near Jelsa. An optional private guide is available throughout your stay.
Travel to Korcula and spend four days in and around the island's atmospheric medieval town. Day trips to Dubrovnik and the western town of Vela Luka are easy to arrange independently. Optional wine and cheese tasting at the locally oriented Cakula wine bar is available during your stay.
Transfer to Trogir, a walled historic town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend two days visiting the Cathedral of St. Lawrence with its carved Radovan portal, the Cipiko Palace, and the surrounding medieval streetscape.
