This China multi-city tour takes travellers across eleven days through Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai, and Suzhou, weaving together imperial history, living culture, and contemporary urban energy into a single cohesive journey. A carefully sequenced route by high-speed rail connects each destination with minimal friction, letting the landscapes and cityscapes speak for themselves.

Beijing sets the tone with its layered imperial past — the vast expanse of Tian'an Men Square, the ceremonial grandeur of the Forbidden City, and the engineering marvel of the Great Wall at Mutianyu all appear within the first three days. The Summer Palace adds a quieter, reflective counterpoint before the group boards a high-speed train westward to Xi'an.

Xi'an brings a different register entirely. The Terracotta Warriors Museum confronts visitors with the extraordinary scale of ancient state power, while the Muslim Quarter offers a lively, fragrant alternative that reflects the city's position as a historic crossroads of trade and religion. An overnight train then carries the group east toward Shanghai.

Shanghai and its surroundings provide the tour's contemporary chapter. The Bund, Nanjing Road, the Former French Concession, and the water town of Zhujiajiao each illuminate a different layer of the city's identity. The journey closes in Suzhou, where UNESCO-recognised classical gardens — including the Humble Administrator's Garden and Lingering Garden — and a canal cruise offer a measured, unhurried finale.
