How the Day Unfolds
The cruise departs from the marina and heads south along the coast toward the Wadi El Gemal National Park. The journey to Sataya takes approximately two hours, during which you can settle on deck and watch the coastline pass.
Upon arrival at Sataya Reef, guests enter the water in the inner lagoon where spinner dolphins are commonly found resting and socialising. Your guide will brief you on responsible wildlife interaction before entering the water.
A second snorkel session takes place along the outer reef walls, where coral coverage is dense and marine life is abundant. This section suits guests who want to explore deeper reef structures and a wider variety of species.
Guests are free to walk the natural sandbanks that form part of the reef, swim in the shallows, or simply rest in the sun. A buffet lunch is served on board during this period.
The yacht makes its way back north to the marina, arriving approximately seven hours after the initial departure. Light refreshments are available on board for the return leg.
