Plitvice Lakes & Rastoke Village Small Group Tour
Two of Croatia's most iconic natural wonders in a single, expertly guided day.
This guided small group day trip takes you from Zagreb to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated worldwide for its cascading turquoise lakes and dramatic waterfalls. Along the way, a stop at Rastoke Village adds a storybook dimension to an already remarkable journey.
Plitvice Lakes is one of Croatia's defining natural landmarks, drawing visitors with its network of sixteen terraced lakes connected by countless waterfalls that drop through ancient travertine formations. The colours of the water shift throughout the day, ranging from deep emerald to vivid aquamarine depending on the light and mineral content.
Rastoke Village, positioned at the confluence of the Slunjcica and Korana rivers, has grown directly around its waterfalls, making it one of the most distinctive settlements in central Croatia. Traditional mill houses sit above rushing water, and the sound of the falls accompanies every step through the village lanes.
The tour combines walking with a scenic ride on the national park's electric train and a boat crossing of the largest lake, ensuring you cover the park's highlights without unnecessary fatigue. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Zagreb are included, removing all logistical concerns from your day.
