Tour and Tasting of 6 Olive Oils With Regional Products
Walk through an ancient olive grove and discover the depth of extra virgin olive oil through guided sensorial comparison and local artisan pairings.
This olive oil tasting experience invites visitors to step inside a working grove of centuries-old olive trees and engage directly with the traditions of artisan oil production. The session combines a guided grove walk with a structured tasting of six single-varietal extra virgin olive oils. The experience closes with a curated board of regional cheeses, cured sausages, local bread, and handmade jams.
The tasting follows a sensorial methodology, guiding participants through the visual, olfactory, and gustatory characteristics of each oil in sequence. Comparing single-varietal oils side by side reveals how olive cultivar, harvest timing, and terroir shape flavour profiles in ways that blended commercial oils rarely communicate.
The accompanying Mainova board draws from local producers and reflects the regional food culture of the area. Each element on the board has been selected to complement the oils tasted, offering a practical and enjoyable illustration of how quality olive oil interacts with other traditional ingredients.
