Olbia: Dolphin Watching RIB Tour to Capo Figari
Explore turquoise coves, dramatic headlands, and wild dolphin waters along northern Sardinia's most iconic coastline.
This dolphin watching RIB tour from Olbia brings you face to face with the raw beauty of the Sardinian coast, cruising aboard a powerful inflatable boat toward the legendary promontory of Capo Figari and the untouched waters surrounding the island of Figarolo.
Departing from Olbia harbour, the route heads north into the protected marine area of Golfo Aranci, where crystal-clear turquoise waters lap against secluded coves and rugged limestone cliffs. The journey is as much about the scenery as the destination, with every stretch of sea offering a new perspective on this remarkable coastline.
The itinerary includes a swimming stop at Cala Moresca, a sheltered and strikingly beautiful bay that rewards visitors with calm, transparent water ideal for a refreshing dip. An on-board aperitif adds a relaxed rhythm to the adventure before continuing toward Figarolo, where dolphins are frequently spotted swimming freely in the open sea.
The RIB format keeps the experience intimate and immediate, placing passengers close to the water and offering an unobstructed view of both the marine environment and the surrounding landscape. With a capacity of just ten passengers, the tour remains small in scale and attentive in character.

Itinerary
The tour begins at the port of Olbia, where passengers board the Marilyn inflatable boat before setting off northward along the coast. The skipper briefs the group on safety and the planned route before casting off.
Within a short sail, the boat enters the marine area of Golfo Aranci and reaches the striking promontory of Capo Figari. This headland rises sharply from the sea and forms the visual centrepiece of the northern Sardinian coastline.
The boat anchors near Cala Moresca, a charming cove with calm, clear water well suited to swimming and snorkelling. Passengers have free time in the water before regrouping on board.
Moving toward the exotic island of Figarolo, the group enjoys an on-board aperitif and a second swimming stop in the surrounding waters. This stretch of sea is among the most likely spots along the route for dolphin sightings.
After exploring the Figarolo area, the boat makes its return journey south along the coast back to the port of Olbia. The skipper may adjust the return path depending on sea conditions and any wildlife encountered.
