Green Mindfulness Experience in Perfugas
A conscious walk through the landscapes of north-west Sardinia, engaging all five senses and returning you to the present moment.
This green mindfulness walk in Perfugas invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world in one of Sardinia's quietest and most genuine corners. Guided by an experienced local, you will move through verdant terrain at a pace that allows genuine observation and reflection. The session closes with herbal tea, biscuits, and optional access to an outdoor pool.
Perfugas sits in the Anglona region of north-west Sardinia, a landscape of gentle hills, ancient cork oaks, and Mediterranean scrub that few tourists explore. Away from the coastal crowds, the territory offers a stillness that makes it an ideal setting for mindfulness practice in the open air. The route is rated easy, making it accessible to most fitness levels and age groups.
The walk is structured around five themed stops inside a natural grove, each lasting roughly ten minutes. Activities range from sensory exercises and nature-based art to a personal gratitude practice, all facilitated by a guide who adapts the programme to the needs of the group. No prior experience with mindfulness is required to benefit from the session.
At the conclusion of the walk, participants gather for a calming herbal tea served with dry biscuits, extending the sense of ease before returning to daily routines. Those who wish to linger may use the on-site pop-up swimming pool independently during its open hours, adding an optional note of physical refreshment to the experience.

Programme Overview
The guide introduces a mindfulness exercise focused on the here and now, helping participants slow their response to external stimuli and settle into the present moment before the grove walk begins.
A structured sensory journey invites participants to consciously engage with sounds, colours, shapes, scents, and physical sensations encountered in the natural surroundings.
Using leaves, stones, flowers, and other found materials, participants compose a collaborative mandala on the ground, a meditative and creative exercise with recognised stress-reducing effects.
A deliberate walk through the grove encourages participants to notice details that tend to go unobserved during ordinary movement, deepening presence and attentiveness.
Participants take quiet time to write down the things they feel grateful for, closing the active portion of the session with a reflective and grounding exercise.
The walk concludes with a served herbal tea and dry biscuits in a relaxed setting. Participants may then access the outdoor pool independently until 9:00 pm.
