Coastal Hike to Sant Sebastia Lighthouse and Medieval Peratallada

The morning begins in Tamariu, a quiet fishing town whose modest harbour gives little hint of the dramatic terrain that rises above it. The trail climbs steadily through dense coastal forest, offering elevated views over rocky inlets and the deep blue of the Costa Brava before arriving at the Sant Sebastia Lighthouse perched at the cape. Along the way, the route passes some of the most secluded coves in the region, accessible only on foot.

At the lighthouse, the group pauses for a lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients rooted in the seafaring tradition of the Baix Emporda coast.
