Catamaran Tour in the La Maddalena Archipelago from Cannigione
A full day of sailing, swimming, and discovery among the most breathtaking islands of northern Sardinia.
This La Maddalena Archipelago catamaran tour departing from Cannigione offers eight hours of guided sailing through some of the most protected and visually stunning waters in the Mediterranean. The itinerary is adapted daily by an expert skipper to match the best marine weather conditions, ensuring every stop delivers the clearest waters and most scenic anchorages available.
The La Maddalena Archipelago is a national park composed of seven main islands and dozens of smaller islets, known for their granite rock formations, fine-sand beaches, and vivid blue-to-turquoise water gradients. Sailing through this protected area on a spacious catamaran provides a level of access and comfort that smaller vessels simply cannot match.
Guests share the day with a skipper and crew who coordinate stops, snorkeling, and on-board dining. Two or three anchorages are selected from locations including Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria, Razzoli, and Caprerai, depending on wind and sea conditions. An aperitif and a full lunch are served on board, making this a relaxed full-day experience rather than a rushed excursion.
Three catamarans are available for booking: two Silver-class vessels (Bob Cat and Moonlight, each 12 to 13 metres long with four cabins and four bathrooms) and one Gold-class Lagoon catamaran (12 metres, three cabins, four bathrooms). All boats are equipped with a tender with outboard motor, an outdoor shower, and a Hi-Fi audio system.

Itinerary
Board your chosen catamaran at the departure point in Cannigione. The crew welcomes guests, provides a safety briefing, and outlines the day's planned route based on current marine conditions.
The catamaran heads north into the archipelago, passing the distinctive granite coastlines and open waters that characterise this stretch of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The skipper identifies the best anchorages for the day ahead.
The vessel anchors at a selected location, which may include Spargi, Santa Maria, Razzoli, or another sheltered cove. Guests swim, snorkel, and explore the seabed directly from the catamaran or via the tender.
An aperitif is served while underway or at anchor, followed by a full lunch prepared and served on board. Guests relax on deck between stops, making use of the outdoor shower and sound system.
A second and possibly a third anchorage is chosen, potentially including Budelli, Caprera, or another location within the national park. Each stop offers additional time for swimming, photography, and exploration.
The catamaran sails back to the departure point in Cannigione as the afternoon winds down. The crew ensures a smooth and timely return to port.
