Full Córdoba Tour with Tickets: Mosque-Cathedral, Jewish Quarter & Alcázar
Four hours through the heart of Andalusia's most storied city, with all major entrance tickets included.
This full guided tour of Córdoba takes you inside the three monuments that define the city's layered history: the Mosque-Cathedral, the Synagogue of the Jewish Quarter, and the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos with its celebrated gardens. All entrance tickets are included, and a professional guide accompanies the entire visit.
Córdoba was once the largest city in Western Europe, a place where Islamic, Jewish, and Christian cultures coexisted and produced extraordinary architecture and scholarship. That inheritance is still visible today in buildings that have survived more than a thousand years.
The tour is rated easy, making it suitable for most fitness levels. The route follows a logical geographic path through the historic centre, connecting the three main sites without unnecessary detours.
Tour Highlights
Step inside the Mosque-Cathedral, one of the most visited monuments in Spain and a masterpiece of Moorish architecture.
Walk through the narrow lanes of the Jewish Quarter and discover hidden corners including the medieval Souk.
Visit the Synagogue of Córdoba, one of only three surviving medieval synagogues in Spain.
Learn about Maimonides, the renowned 12th-century philosopher and physician who was born in this quarter.
Stroll through the impressive gardens of the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, former residence of Castilian kings.
Explore the Caliphal Baths, an exceptional remnant of the original palace complex dating to the caliphate period.
All entrance tickets to every site are included in the price, so there is no need to queue separately at each monument.
Itinerary
The tour begins at the Gate of Forgiveness, the monumental northern entrance to the Mosque-Cathedral complex. Your guide will introduce the historical context of Córdoba before the group enters the monument.
The group enters the Mosque-Cathedral, originally built as a mosque in the 8th century and later adapted into a cathedral. Inside, you will see the forest of columns and double arches, the gilded mihrab, and the Renaissance nave inserted at the structure's centre.
The route continues into the Judería, the old Jewish neighbourhood whose street plan has changed little since the medieval period. The guide will point out the Souk, explain the legacy of Maimonides, and lead the group into the 14th-century Synagogue.
The final stop is the Alcázar, a fortified palace that served as a royal residence for the Castilian monarchs and later as a base during the Reconquista. The visit includes the Caliphal Baths and concludes with a walk through the formal gardens overlooking the Guadalquivir river.
