RIB Tour from Olbia to Capo Figari with Dolphin Watching and Snorkeling
Sail the wild Sardinian coastline aboard a rigid inflatable boat and discover limestone cliffs, crystal coves, and free-roaming dolphins.
This dolphin watching RIB tour from Olbia takes small groups along one of Sardinia's most striking stretches of coastline, combining marine wildlife observation with snorkeling stops at naturally sheltered bays and dramatic rock formations.
Departing from Marina di Olbia, the route heads toward Figarolo Island, a protected marine area where resident and passing dolphin pods are regularly spotted near local fish farms. An onboard guide trained in marine biology provides context during every sighting, explaining the behavior and ecology of these animals without encouraging any disturbance to them.
After the wildlife segment, the itinerary continues toward the limestone promontory of Capo Figari or, depending on sea conditions, toward the secluded inlets near Cape Ceraso. Guests can enter the water with provided mask, snorkel, and fins to explore the seabed below these cliffs. A light snack is served onboard before the return to Olbia.
The boat is a 7.5-meter Bwa RIB certified for up to 24 passengers, fitted with a fixed awning, USB charging sockets, and full safety equipment including a VHF radio and first aid kit. The skipper adjusts the route according to current wind and sea conditions to prioritize both safety and the best possible experience.

Itinerary
The group boards the Bwa RIB at the Olbia marina and sets out along the Gulf of Olbia toward the open sea. The skipper briefs passengers on safety procedures and the planned route.
After approximately 30 minutes of navigation, the boat reaches the waters around Figarolo Island. The marine biology guide leads a 30 to 50-minute observation session, adjusting position based on the dolphins' behavior and proximity.
The boat moves to the base of the Capo Figari limestone promontory, where guests can enter the water and snorkel above the rocky seabed. Snorkeling equipment is distributed onboard before the stop.
A second swim stop is made at Cala Moresca or near Figarolo Island depending on conditions. A light snack is served onboard during this rest segment.
The boat returns to Marina di Olbia, completing the circuit. Total time at sea is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes from departure to docking.
