Itinerary
Participants gather at the designated San Teodoro meeting point, where guides distribute and fit neoprene suits, helmets, and full harnesses. A safety briefing covers techniques for jumps, swims, and rappels before departure.
The group boards a Jeep 4x4 for the transfer into the Monte Nieddu forest, reaching the upper entry point of Rio Pitrisconi canyon. The drive itself provides early views of Sardinia's rugged interior landscape.
The 3 km guided descent follows the river's course through granite gorges, passing a succession of natural pools ideal for swimming and jumping. Water flows continuously through this section, keeping the pools active in every season.
At several points along the route, participants descend waterfalls by rappel with vertical drops reaching up to 20 metres. Guides provide hands-on instruction for those attempting rappelling for the first time.
At the canyon exit, the Jeep 4x4 collects the group for the return transfer to the meeting point. A complimentary coffee and snack are offered to close the excursion before participants make their way back.
