Day-by-Day Itinerary
The tour opens with a visit to the Grand Mosque, where photography is permitted both inside and outside the main prayer hall. Guests explore the ornate interior before moving on to panoramic views of Jalali and Mirani Castles and the Royal Palace along the waterfront.
A walk through Muttrah Souk introduces the layered commercial culture of old Muscat, with the nearby fish market providing an authentic glimpse of daily coastal life. The afternoon continues with a visit to a theater of darkness dedicated to Omani arts and history, rounding out the cultural programme before check-in at the Muscat hotel.
Departure from Muscat leads to Wadi Shab after approximately ninety minutes of driving. Guests then walk forty-five minutes into the gorge, swim and relax in the natural pools for around one hour, and return along the same trail before re-boarding the vehicle.
The group checks into hotel apartments located near the turtle nesting reserve. At the designated hour after sunset, guests are escorted to the beach to observe nesting sea turtles in their undisturbed habitat, a protected and carefully managed natural experience.
