Here we see the train station and enjoy the mosaic pictures
Our second stop is the Rathausplatz and the post office. These buildings represent the "Belle Epoque" of the city in the 20 years - together with the train station-
Now we find ourselves in the real center of the city. Also an Art Nouveau building - the Central Market - opened in 1928 and right opposite the pearl of the city: the 15th century silk market of Gothic style.
The first and oldest mall. Also known as the hole. This building has been renovated and modernized, but the shops are still as beautiful as a hundred years ago
The Queen Square and the Micalet Tower are the symbol of the old city. The cathedral and the Jungfrauplatz are also part of it. History, art and culture everywhere
After a walk through Serranosstrasse, the Serranos Towers are our next stop. Also of a Gothic style. Here we see how important the Turia River was for the development and well-being of the city today
The facade of this building is simply impressive. Baroque style of a building that contains the National Ceramics Museum. Recommended.
The end of our walk is another Art Nouveau building. Colonmarkt was opened in 1916 and was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century. Nowadays it is the perfect "meeting point" to meet people and enjoy the typical Valencian drink Horchata.
