Bedouin Safari and Star Gazing Tour with Camel Ride in Sharm El Sheikh
Ride into the desert, dine under the stars, and connect with authentic Bedouin traditions.
The Sharm El Sheikh Bedouin Safari takes you beyond the resort strip and into the quiet expanse of the Sinai Desert, where ancient hospitality traditions and a sky full of stars await. This five-hour guided experience blends a camel ride, traditional cooking, and a candlelit desert dinner into a single evening you are unlikely to forget.
Guided by local Bedouin hosts, the journey begins with a camel ride through the open desert, giving you a firsthand look at the landscape and way of life that has shaped this region for centuries. The pace is relaxed, the terrain is accessible, and the scenery shifts gradually from the edge of town to true wilderness.
Once at the Bedouin tent, guests are welcomed with herbed tea and invited to try their hand at traditional bread making before a buffet dinner is served by candlelight. A fire show adds atmosphere to the evening, while the clear desert sky overhead provides a natural spectacle that no city can replicate.

Itinerary
A representative from Sun Pyramids Tours will collect you directly from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel and transfer you to the desert starting point. No need to arrange your own transport or navigate unfamiliar roads.
You will mount your camel and begin an approximately 20-minute ride through the desert alongside experienced Bedouin guides. The ride follows a scenic route timed to coincide with sunset, offering outstanding views of the Sinai landscape.
On arrival at the traditional tent, guests are served Bedouin herbal tea made with Habak. Guides then demonstrate the art of Bedouin bread making and invite visitors to participate in the process.
A buffet dinner is served by candlelight in the open desert, accompanied by a traditional fire show performance. An Egyptian shisha (apple-flavored water pipe) is available separately for those who wish to try it.
After dinner, take time to look up and appreciate the desert sky, which is notably clear and dark this far from the city. Your Bedouin guides are on hand to share knowledge about the stars and the landscape around you.
