Hurghada Desert Safari: Quad Bike and Sunset Views
Ride into the Sahara, share tea with Bedouins, and watch the sun set over the golden dunes.
This Hurghada desert safari takes you beyond the resort shoreline and into the vast Egyptian Sahara, where ancient Bedouin culture and dramatic landscapes come together in a single afternoon. The experience is rated easy, making it accessible for most travellers seeking a genuine desert encounter without technical difficulty.
After hotel pickup, the journey begins at the quad bike station where riders complete a brief test drive before heading 35 km into the desert toward a traditional Bedouin village. The route cuts through open terrain, offering uninterrupted views of sand plains and distant rocky ridges that define this stretch of the Eastern Desert.
At the village, guests discover the daily rhythms of Bedouin life, including customs, craftsmanship, and storytelling passed down across generations. A camel ride, a barbeque dinner, and an oriental folklore show round out an evening that unfolds naturally beneath a sky thick with stars.

Itinerary
A driver collects you from your Hurghada hotel and transfers you to the quad bike station to begin the adventure. Guests from Safaga, Soma Bay, Makadi, Sahl Hasheesh, or El Gouna should note that pickup from these areas carries an additional charge.
Before departing, each rider completes a short test drive at the station to build confidence with the vehicle. The group then sets off across 35 km of desert landscape en route to the Bedouin village, with each participant riding their own quad bike.
Arriving at the village, guides introduce guests to Bedouin traditions, daily life, and local craftsmanship. A camel ride through the surrounding dunes follows, offering a quieter perspective of the desert environment.
As the sun descends, guests gather to watch the desert sunset before sitting down to a barbeque dinner with mineral water and soft drinks. An oriental show with folkloric songs and music brings the cultural portion of the evening to a close.
With the desert sky now dark and clear, the journey back to Hurghada offers a rare opportunity to observe stars without light pollution. Guests are dropped off at their hotel, concluding the tour.
